So, in terms of the amount of knowledge that he has, not just about painting, but the systems behind that and also how to be a happy owner of a business, is really where it’s at.
And I have to tell you that it’s hard to own a business and it’s stressful, but working with Steve, you really learn how to solve the problems that can hang you up and make you feel stressed out.
A great example of that is how I was getting leads from sources that weren’t very good and paying for leads, and he’s really increased my ability to know that there’s more out there in terms of networking.
There’s BNI, Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, things like that, that I was totally unaware of.
We also are working on reading one business book every week, and when I say business it goes a little deeper than that, there are books on relationship, books on marketing and sales.
And just having somebody I can talk to, and confide in and when I am having a good day, I can do a little bit of bragging and when I am not having a good day, I can tell him what is really going on.
But I cannot tell you just to how important it is to have a coach, to keep you on track, to keep you happy, and focused on your vision and not only that but staying really focused on goals.
