Win More Bids With These Postcards

It’s becoming difficult to book work.

That’s why now it’s more important than ever to do everything you can to stand out from your competitors.

I’m going to show you one way to do that,

but first, write down this principle:

Everything matters, everything counts.

A question came up in one of my mastermind groups as to whether he should leave behind a flyer after the estimate.

Do this instead…

After you leave your estimate, drive one block away just so you’re out of sight, and write them a handwritten notecard.

Hi Mr & Mrs Jones,

Thank you for having me out to your home.
It was a pleasure to meet you.
Talk soon, Steve 🙂

That’s it.

No selling, just gratitude.

Make sure you write it in blue ink.

Blue conveys trust.

Next, place it in an envelope and hand address it, and put a fun stamp on it.

Don’t use a typical stamp.

Next, get it in the mail straight away.

You want it to arrive the next day.

Think about how impressed you’d be if a contractor sent you a handwritten note in a self-addressed envelope with a fun stamp on it to express his pleasure in meeting you and gratitude for having him over.

Your value just went up another notch making it easier to see that you and your team are the best value to them.
