3 Tips to Boost Your SEO

Search engine optimization (SEO) is one of the best investments you can make if you want to accelerate growth and scale your business.

It’s the best way to get your business in front of people who are actively looking for your services.

Although SEO is very complex and there are hundreds of activities that go into an aggressive campaign, I’ve narrowed it down to 3 that you can focus on right now and do yourself.

Here are 3 tips to boost your SEO:

Create high-quality content that is optimized for search engines

Google prioritizes content that demonstrates expertise and authority.

Set a goal to consistently generate content that is helpful and sets you up as the authority in your market.

Don’t get too hung up on keywords.

Consistency is key here.

The more content on your site the better.

Optimize page titles and meta descriptions with relevant keywords

If your site is on WordPress, use a plugin like YOAST, which makes it easy to update your Title and Description tags on your posts and pages.

It even guides you on the length of the tags.

If you don’t use WordPress, most website builders have some kind of way to enter the meta tags for each page.

This is where you should try to sprinkle in some of your primary keywords, but don’t make it spammy.

Optimize your Google Business Profile

If you want to generate huge volumes of leads, you have to get high rankings in Google Maps.

To do that, you have to have a strong Google Business Profile.

This means having all of your information filled out.

Submit photos of your company vehicles, team, jobs you’ve done, and upload your logo.

Add all of the services you do, and include a brief description of each one.

Post updates to your profile on a weekly basis.

Most importantly, get as many reviews as you can!

This is by no means a complete list of SEO strategies, but if you do these three things, you’ll be well on your way to generating leads on Google.
