2 years ago, January this year, I didn’t even have a website, I did get a website that year, I built out a beautiful website and they told me I should start blogging for SEO purposes, I didn’t even know what SEO was.
Well, I started blogging, very basic blogs at first, in fact, my first blog was, “what do you do with old paint, how do you get rid of it?”
I started there and now here it is, 2 years 5 months later, I have about 165 blogs out there, plus a couple that are half-done.
Tag words, special words that are good for the community around here, interior painting in my community, exterior, blogs or anything from the proper paint to use, how do we restore a front door.
In fact, the last 6 out of the 8 as I said, 4 of them put exterior painting.
1 of them was for front door restoration and 1 of them was for kitchen cabinet re-paint.
These are all found on the internet through one of our blogs for the SEO power we have there.
You have to check this out, we don’t pay anything, we own this, this is ours, so, if we were paying for something and we stop paying, it will go away, but we own this forever and it’s just going to build and build.
People ask me, where do I get my crazy ideas of these blogs, well I like going for hikes.
A lot of times when I am hiking out there, my mind is clear, I get to clear my mind and think.
It’s a great time, I also go for my bike ride in the mornings.
With our jobs we take pictures before and after, my crew leaders take pictures, we all share them and it’s also an inspiration for a lot of blogs that come across.
Imagine that, 6 out of the last 8 jobs weren’t from a salesperson that you have to pay a commission.
