Saved $4,000/mo by joining DYB 1-1 Coaching and doubled our sales

Stopped paying for leads in Oct. - which was about $4,000 a month - and leads have not dropped off. Plus we have more than doubled our sales this Feb over last Feb.

Day 20 today!!! I woke up at 2:30AM and was just so excited I could not sleep.

Everything is clicking into place in my head like magic.

Steve has caused me great stress in business.

Activity spawns activity. Never stop.

1 YCBM, 3 calls and 2 emails all for quotes today. January and February were booked before Christmas. March is all sold now and 1st 2 weeks of April just closed closed today.

I have always viewed sales and marketing as a 2 to 3 month cycle. When I sold high specification oil and gas equipment it was closer to a year...or more. When I was recruited over to Westinghouse and sold low voltage motors and drives, it was around 2 months. There were many months that we sat on our butts in our office and answered the phones, played video games, had 3 hours lunches with staff; because we were cocky and hitting our targets in busy season. Older staff were like a cancer, and infected you with negativity and you just started to blend. Those next two months always killed us and we blamed the price of oil, we blamed gas prices, holiday's, lower priced competition, technical shortcomings of the product. Anything but ourselves.... I did know that when I went hard, the months ahead were easier....until the cycle started again!.

We still should have been connecting with existing clients, networking (not in bars), digging for projects and seeking new clients. We had the tools, we had the time and the financial safety of large salaries, expense accounts and company vehicles.

If I applied even 1/3 of the DYB system religiously back then, I would have become president of the company.

I have the best problem in the world. More business than time. I have not been less than 10 weeks of scheduled work since Steve shipped me a simple book, and a phone call. I haven't implemented it all, but as each month passes, a little more sinks in, I become comfortable with it and step outside the comfort zone.

I haven't worried about where my business was coming from for quite sometime...because I work for it 3 months before!

I just wanted to thank you for putting up that Facebook seminar on the DYB (Café) website.

It was really insightful and thanks to the tips and tricks I learned from April I am proud to say that our last two "Ads" were the most successful we've ever had, I believe this is due to the insights you provided about making the Ads look like ABA.

I have really focused on the Entertainment aspect of GIE.

While I have intentionally not grown the size of my company this year, I have intentionally grown the profit margin, especially with the Target Market exercise Steve shared with us. Having the focus of what jobs and customers to take on I have nearly doubled our net profit margin from last year YTD to this year YTD. Very cool. I realize the numbers may change slightly by the end of the year (up or down,) but so far this is very encouraging.

Hi All, just finished with a 1-1 coaching session with Steve, like the mastermind on Steroids or should I say caffeinated Steroids!!!!!! I've had other coaches before and most of them just wanted to make sure they were on the right side of the cash register. If you want real growth personal and professional ( there's time when I feel I'm on the couch talking to Dr. Steve) and insight into how to make your business cruise the "one on one" is the way to go!!!! Haven't Been This Excited About What I Do In Years!

I clicked the "I'm in for a $1" button. Wow! This is awesome. I turn 55 this coming week and I'm finally giving up on figuring it out as I go. Thanks everyone. In less than one week I've been on here and in the vault so much my wife thinks I must be having an affair. LOL. This is the boost I didn't even know I needed. I haven't been this excited about what I do for years.

UPDATE:

I was going to wait until Friday to share this as a "Big Win" but I just can't contain my emotions that long. Today, Oct 12, I collected final payment for the job we completed yesterday. I have now officially doubled my business from last year.

We also currently have three other ongoing projects, more exterior work sold than weather will permit us to get to this year so we've booked some for spring, and we have December and the first half of January booked solid with interior work. Life is good, DYB Rocks!!

For over a month now I have been up at 5:00~5:15 reading and then doing jam sessions. But honestly, it's more than that. They have provided a catalyst and then support for a mindset change.

Best Thing to Happen to My Business...

One year ago today (3.22.17) I did the best and worst thing in my career. I signed a contract to begin a painting franchise, which = Big mistake.
Then I got away from the franchise, which = Best move ever.

The DYB community has been the best thing to happen to my business over the course of this last year.

Dean Pectal helped guide me to this system, which has been better than any system I had in place. For that I am very thankful. The savings on marketing alone has been tremendous.
