Do you have a Google+ Business Page?

Youtube Channel for your business video testimonials?

Business Email with Google’s amazing Spam blocking abilities?

Youcanbook.me installed on your website?

Testimonials tab on your website where video testimonial auto populate after you upload to Youtube?

Whether your answer is, “Not yet,” or, “Yes!” let me ask you this: do you want them all connected with the same email login (aka: your business email)?

Of course!

Here are 5 reasons Google Apps for Business is key to your growth.

Google Apps for Business sets up your business/professional email to be directed to Gmail, so you have access no matter where you are and which computer you are using. Using ONE email, your business email, you get access to:

  1. #1 Spam Blocking email in the world
  2. Google+ Business Page Reviews which “light you up” with 5 gold stars, after just 5 reviews
  3. Harness the Power of Youtube and upload your Video Testimonials from your Raving Fans
  4. Automatically populate video testimonials on your website by connecting Youtube to your Website via Tubepress
  5. Please your customers with an easy online booking calendar YouCanBook.Me, connected to Google Calendar

Let’s dive deep.

1. GMAIL SPAM BLOCKER

How many emails do you get a day? Do you ever find yourself wishing you could get more?

NO! You find yourself wishing you didn’t get so many and feel so overwhelmed in your email, right?

According to Darren Hardy, there was a study that found that your stress level increases and your blood pressure increases and your breathing gets shallow when you are in or reading your emails.

Wow!

Check it out – next time you’re in your email, check your pulse and your stress level. I did.

Turns out, it’s true!

That’s why you need to be using Gmail as your business email host, via Google Apps for Business.

When you use Gmail to direct your mail, you have the superpower to set your inbox to priority inbox with 4 categories that are a must:

1 – Important and Unread

2 – Important

3 – Starred

4 – Everything Else

Once this is set up, you will “Archive” and not delete all mail when finished. This gives you the ability to use the Mega-powerful Search Box at the top and find any piece of mail ever sent to you, with a keyword to two. VERY HANDY IN BUSINESS!

Also, with one click, an email that arrives that you deem “not important” and not something you want to read, can be directed to always go into the “Everything Else” category from now on, by deselecting the yellow tag icon next to the email.

By only seeing the Important and Unread mail (hiding the rest until you desire), you will find that there aren’t as many emails as we once thought, that are necessary, but the ones that are, can get more attention, faster, and keep your business running smoother and your customers happier, as you respond quickly with ease.

2. Google+ Business Page

With the recent changes Google is making to their search engine and businesses that show up, it is more important than ever, to have your Google+ Business Page up and running with no less than 5 reviews. Let’s use everything we can to have our business:

  1. Show up in the first three suggested businesses when leads are searching
  2. Stand out with the gold stars given to businesses with 5 or more reviews
  3. Have awesome, interesting content from our blog be listed as 3 of the 5 next sites after the listing of 3 businesses. (aka: BLOG!)

To do the above, you will want to have a Google+ Business Page, get at least 5 reviews, and keep posting your weekly blogs to your Google+ Business Page.

3. Youtube

If a picture’s worth a thousand words, how many words is a video worth? Well, since we are a society that favors movies over reading material, I’d say a million words!

When your potential client or lead sees a huge gallery of videos from clients of yours raving about how amazing you are, it often can close the sale before you even get to the estimate. Does that sound wonderful? Great! Get your Youtube Business Channel going, record those testimonials, and start closing the sale before you get there! Sound like a dream? Been there, done that, it happened a lot for us and it can for you, too.

4. Website Autopopulates Video Testimonials from Youtube

Streamline, streamline, streamline. If there is one thing I’ve mastered and you can too, it’s streamlining every part of the business so we are working smarter and not harder.

You’ve got your Youtube Channel with great testimonials. Make life easy peasy and install the Tubepress plugin so all your great video testimonials auto-populate after uploading them to Youtube.

5. YouCanBook.Me Calendar

Customers love to be able to book an appointment with companies without having to pick up the phone. Many of our clients said, “It was so easy to book you online!” and were super impressed with this simple, easy to install feature.

With your business email in Google Apps for Business, your Google Calendar can be set to link with YouCanBook.Me Calendar – as well as any other estimator on your team. Then you set the parameters, and every available time for your estimating team is show LIVE on your website.

Reduces phone calls, reduces the “I’m Free are You? Game” we sometimes play with phone leads.

Streamlining your business is a must for growth. Using these 5 features of Google Apps for Business will be a tremendous help in reducing your hours while increasing your business.

Sounds like you’ve got a lot of work to do!

Good article about some important tools. Love the YouCanBookMe plugin. Most people still call, but almost 20% are booking directly now and that’s enough to cut down on the phone calls I have to take while I’m up on ladders.

Can you filter your own domain’s email through Gmail? I haven’t yet figured out how to do this and still send email marked with my own domain.

Also, I’ve been having some problems with old code in TubePress, which is repeatedly taking down my video testimonial page. I don’t know whether I need to upgrade to the paid version, or whether paying is just going to get me more bad code.

I’m so glad you are using YouCanBook.Me!

Yes, you can filter your domain’s email through Gmail and I recommend it! Check it out here: https://www.google.com/work/apps/business/pricing.html.

Tubepress is no longer a free app and you’ll need an API Code – another reason to have Google Apps for Business! There is a Course in the Café that I recommend and has all of the steps. You can access the Café for only $37/month here: http://www.dybmg.com.

Have you looked into any of TubePress’s competitors? Seems like there are any number of video gallery plugins, some of which are still free.
