My wife and I were having a great afternoon. The day was beautiful, the sun was out and the temperature was in the high 70s.
We had been kayaking for a few hours exploring the small lake. We stopped and had lunch and decided to head back to shore were we started this trek earlier in the afternoon.
We were leisurely paddling and talking and paddling and paddling and paddling. It seemed like we were not moving an inch.
As you looked to your left that tree was still in the same place it was twenty minutes ago.
What to do now, head back to the shore and wait out the wind or carry the kayaks back to the car? Or do we just dig in and apply the effort that got us here to begin with?
Has your business stalled?
Is it time to get back to basics?
Are you so busy that you are overlooking the things that got you to were you are?
When was the last time you sent out a “Thank You” card or a “Nice to meet you” card?
Let’s Dig In and revisited the basics:
- Provide the customer the ultimate customer experience.
- Thank you cards

Similar to my kayaking experience in feeling great but being stuck in the same place for a period of time sometimes we have to be reminded of what brought us to this point with our business.
A lot of hard work has been spent in achieving this level of success, DO NOT STOP NOW.
Head down and dig in deeper.
