“It’s not who you know, it’s who knows you.” – Unknown
As the baby boomer generation is aging into retirement, it is the Millennials, who have taken on the “top dog” status when it comes to buying homes and starting families.
How does this relate to your painting company?
Question: What do all Millennials have in common? Social Media.
Facebook says the average Millennial spends 30 minutes a day on the popular platform. This is a great opportunity for you to reach your target market.
With the tech boom in full effect, more and more people look to Facebook as their ‘say all and do all’ or ‘go to’ for almost everything.
You want to say hey to a friend? Message them.
You want to send out invites to a party? Create a group.
Oh yeah, you need a painter? Ask your friends.
Based on this info above, I, a millennial, have doubled my qualified leads by just doing these 5 simple steps:
1. Create a business Facebook Page
2. Choose an engaging cover photo. (Ours is the team laughing and getting ready to go to work.)
3. Experiment with Ads.(Make sure they fit the A.B.A. formula, and look like Anything But Ads!!)
4.Post blog posts, photos, and videos to your timeline. (Make sure to add the location)
5.Monitor and respond DAILY to comments on your page.
Does this seem easy enough to you? It is.
The largest most effective tool that I have learned though Steve & April is implementing.
If word of mouth is (and will always be) the number one lead generator, why not let the word of mouth come from Facebook— where everyone is constantly connected, and DYB!
